Blend up this light and fluffy mango mousse for a tropical treat you can enjoy year-round!
This 3-ingredient recipe is the easiest mousse you will ever make. All you need is chilled mango, a banana and coconut cream. No added sweeteners, extracts, or juices necessary!
It’s important to chill the coconut cream and mango an hour before making this recipe to get the consistency just right. The key to getting that fluffy, mousse-like texture is whipping the coconut cream with a hand mixer consistently for several minutes. Four minutes is recommended, but depending on your mixer and coconut cream, you may need to do it a minute or two longer. The longer you whip it, the fluffier the mousse becomes!

Be sure to drain the water from the coconut cream before using it, as it will only weigh down the mousse. Save the coconut water to add to a post-workout smoothie later – it’s full of natural electrolytes.
Once you whip your coconut cream, blend the mangos and bananas together. The consistency should be firm. Carefully fold the blended fruit with the coconut cream, but don’t stir! Folding them together is another trick to getting that light and airy mousse texture, with a pretty speckled look!
Serve your mousse in a bowl or glass with sliced bananas and shredded coconut on top. It can be stored in mason jars in the freezer up to 30 days. Great for an easy, ready-to-go snack!

Ingredients
- 15 oz. full-fat coconut cream, chilled and drained
- 1 ½ cups mango, chilled
- 1 ripe banana
- Banana slices, to serve (optional)
- Shredded coconut, to serve (optional)
Instructions
- Place the coconut cream in a large bowl. Mix with a hand mixer for 4 minutes until creamy and smooth.
- Place the banana and chilled mango in a blender. Process on high until smooth.
- Fold the mango banana mixture into the coconut cream. Do not stir.
- Transfer to a glass or bowl. Top with sliced bananas and shredded coconut and serve.
