To make these detox treats, start by melting raw cacao and coconut together over a double boiler, and whisk until smooth. Use a ⅛ measuring cup to scoop the chocolate onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet to form 8 chocolates, and sprinkle with chopped walnuts, almonds, pecans, goji berries and lemon rind. You will need to work fast because the dark chocolate sets quickly on the sheet pan. Chill the chocolates about 10 more minutes, or until they’ve hardened completely.
Enjoy these detox bites anytime you want to give your body a feel-good treat. Store them in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks and eat them as a healthy snack or dessert.
