Luscious and creamy, this Black Forest Pudding gets topped with cherries and cacao nibs for a German-inspired dessert.
Made with six wholesome ingredients, this Black Forest pudding is unlike any pudding you’ve had before. It’s packed with healthy fat from avocado, probiotics from coconut yogurt, and antioxidants from cocoa powder and cherries. The best part: your taste buds won’t know how nutritious it is!
Avocado and dairy-free yogurt give the pudding its ultra-creamy base. You can even make your own homemade coconut yogurt! Cocoa powder makes this pudding extra silky and chocolatey, and fresh (or frozen) pitted cherries sweeten the deal with their summery, tart flavors. Just toss everything in a blender and watch the ingredients magically transform into a chocolate pudding you can’t resist!

The secret to making this the best Black Forest pudding you’ve ever made? Refrigeration. After blending the ingredients together, transfer the pudding to a bowl and let the flavors marry in the fridge for a minimum of 10 minutes. The pudding will thicken and become richer, giving it a deep chocolatey flavor.
Enjoy your Black Forest pudding as a late-night snack, after-dinner dessert, or for breakfast instead of a smoothie. Top with chopped cherries, cacao nibs or fresh fruit!
