Cure a case of the munchies with these “cheesy” chicken herb bites!
If you’re feeling snacky, whip up a batch of these dairy-free chicken bites that smell just like cheddar cheese popcorn! Give them a try during movie night or as an appetizer for parties.
Nutritional yeast gives these chicken bites their cheesy flavor and also holds the bites together thanks to its dry, flaky texture. Since herbs and cheese are a match made in heaven, this recipe is loaded with fragrant oregano, basil and garlic. You could also sub these herbs out for chives, scallions or dill.

Tip: Ground chicken breast keeps these bites a little on the drier side, so if you prefer them to be moist, use ground turkey or chicken that is a combination of thigh and breast meat.
Start by combining ground chicken in a mixing bowl with an egg, nutritional yeast, and seasonings. Use your hands to mix thoroughly, then form the mixture into 24 small balls. Set onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes or until they are golden brown on top.
Serve your chicken bites warm with a marinara sauce for dipping!
