If you’re like me, then this dark chocolate orange chia pudding is your answer to a quick and better-for-you breakfast! Plus, the hint of citrus orange goes beautifully with the rich chocolate taste.

This recipe only requires 5 minutes of hands-on preparation time. Simply mix chia seeds with raw cacao powder, orange juice, orange zest, and honey in a large bowl. Pour in water or non-dairy milk and let the refrigerator do all the work! Chill the mixture until the chia seeds have absorbed the liquid, and the chia pudding is thick and rich. Simply divide the chia pudding into two glasses and garnish with an orange peel. Enjoy!
Tip: In this recipe I used water as the liquid base because I like a chia pudding that’s lighter, but if you prefer a creamier version, simply switch out the water for non-dairy milk in equal amounts.
