Curb cravings with this Chocolate Strawberry Parfait and reap its skin-boosting benefits!
If you’re looking for a dessert that’s guilt-free and filled with decadent flavor, this parfait is for you. Pure cacao powder adds rich chocolate flavor, while a layer of strawberry jelly decorates the bottom base. It’s perfect for curbing cravings and doesn’t include any dairy or refined sugars.
Cacao powder is a go-to for creating all-natural chocolate recipes, without any added sweeteners. It contains powerful antioxidants that help prevent free radical damage while also improving brain and heart health. Look for cacao brands with minimal processing and no added sugars. To solidify the strawberry jelly, you’ll be using grass-fed gelatin that contains skin-firming collagen to support strong joints, connective tissues, and bones.

To get started, combine strawberries, water, and raw honey in a blender. Pulse until puréed and heat the mixture in a small saucepan over low heat. Simmer until steaming (about three minutes) and slowly whisk in the gelatin until fully dissolved. When ready, tilt two eight-ounce glasses in a muffin tin and divide the jelly mixture into each glass. Refrigerate for one hour, or until the jelly is set.
Next, combine banana, cacao, and almond milk in a blender and pulse until smooth and creamy. Pour the chocolate mixture over the chilled jelly and slide in a strawberry slice for garnishing. Sip the chocolate layer with a straw and dig into the jelly with a spoon!
