Pineapple Turmeric
Turmeric is a superfood when it comes to inflammatory conditions and boosting the immune system. Pineapple contains an enzyme called bromelain, excellent at reducing inflammation that causes pain within the body. Together they create an elixir that both boosts immunity and reduces pain. Be sure to add a pinch of black pepper to increase bioavailability of turmeric.
Cucumber Melon
Few combos are as refreshing as cucumber melon. Watermelon is high in lycopene, a powerful antioxidant that helps reduce oxidative damage to cells. This combination creates a sweet and cool flavor that is perfect on a hot day.
Lime Raspberry
Raspberries provide a dose of antioxidants and fiber, while limes are high in vitamin C and bring a bright contrast. The flavor is tart with plenty of juicy raspberry.
Ginger Lemon
Ginger is a staple in detox water, improving digestion and adding a hint of spicy flavor to balance the citrusy lemon. Together these ingredients help to alkalize the body and flush the lymphatic system.
Grapefruit Rosemary
This sophisticated pairing adds a dose of vitamin C, and rosemary helps to improve blood circulation while reducing free radicals. The flavor is slightly tart with a clean aromatic aroma.
Strawberry Basil
Strawberry basil is one combination that is possibly the most flavorful of the infusions thanks to the juicy flavor of sweet strawberries and the anise flavor of basil. Basil has medicinal properties and is great for combating cough and mucus-related issues. Strawberries are rich in antioxidants, which help protect the body against free radicals.
Blackberry Mint
The blackberry’s deep purple color is an indication of its plentiful superfood qualities. This berry contains a compound called anthocyanin, which can help reduce the risk of certain cancers and strokes. Mint helps to clear congestion and relieves symptoms associated with digestion and intestinal issues.
