Hemp seeds are rich in protein and can help you feel satiated throughout the day. Adding the hemp seeds to the smoothie will also bulk up the texture. Tip: You can replace hemp with flax seeds or chia seeds in equal quantities. And for a subtly sweet flavor, you’ll be mixing in a bit of raw honey.
To get started, combine the cubed avocado, green apples, and cold water in a blender. Pulse on high until you get a thick, homogeneous mixture. Then, add the spirulina powder, maca powder, shelled hemp seeds, and honey. Continue pulsing until all the ingredients are combined and divide the smoothie between two glasses. Garnish with a sprinkle of hemp seeds on top and enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 cup avocado, cubed
- 2 cups granny smith apples, cubed
- 2 cups cold water
- 1 t spirulina powder
- 1 t maca powder
- 1 T shelled hemp seeds, plus more for garnish
- 1 T honey
Instructions
- Combine the avocado, apples, and water in a blender. Pulse on high speed for 3 minutes, or until you get a smooth thick mixture.
- Add the spirulina powder, maca powder, hemp seeds, and honey to the blender. Continue pulsing until all the ingredients are mixed together.
- Divide the smoothie evenly between 2 glasses, then garnish with hemp seeds. Serve immediately and enjoy!
