Avocado gives this morning elixir a dreamy creaminess that rivals any regular milkshake. This green fruit also adds a dose of healthy fats, fiber and vitamins—just the thing you need to kick start your day. Red cabbage thickens up the drink even more while also bringing its signature detox benefits—and yes, it’s flavorless thanks to the blueberries’ delicious tartness. Together, the red cabbage and blueberries also create a lovely purple color!

Cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and parsley spice things up with their antioxidants and inflammation fighting properties. Parsley is particularly known as a natural diuretic and for its digestive benefits. A healthy spice you won’t even know is snuck into the drink. And to keep things dairy-free, we use silky almond milk—but feel free to use coconut milk if you’re sensitive to nuts.
To make the recipe, simply toss all ingredients into a blender. Blend on high for a few minutes until smooth. Pour it into a glass, top with more blueberries and shredded coconut, grab a straw and start sipping!

Ingredients
- 1 cup wild blueberries
- Half of a ripe avocado
- ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
- ½ cup red cabbage
- ¼ t nutmeg
- ¼ t ginger
- ¼ t parsley
- ½ t cinnamon
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high 2-3 minutes until smooth.
- Transfer to a glass. Top with extra blueberries and shredded coconut and serve!
